Akta-Vite » What can I make with Akta-Vite?

recipeAkta-Vite is a delicious and versatile addition to the pantry that can be stirred into milk, sprinkled over ice cream or yoghurt or sandwiched between bread.  There are so many ways for your whole family to enjoy Akta-Vite!

  • Sprinkle over icings for chocolate crunch on cupcakes or biscuits
  • Add to a banana smoothie for chocolatey goodness
  • Use as a crunchy dip for pieces of fruit.  Dip fruit into plain yoghurt first then into Akta-Vite
  • Make fairy bread with Akta-Vite using butter or cream cheese
  • Because it’s dairy free, Akta-Vite can be enjoyed with non-dairy beverages like soy or rice milks & yoghurts
  • Sprinkle Akta‐Vite over cereal instead of sugar for a crunchy chocolate topping
  • Sprinkle Akta‐Vite over unbaked plain or banana muffins before baking
  • Sprinkle Akta-Vite over yoghurt and leave for a few minutes so that it dissolves into a delicious chocolate sauce that’s good for you
  • For a cheaper alternative to chocolate flavoured yoghurt, stir 2 or 3 teaspoons of Akta-Vite into approx. 200ml plain or vanilla yoghurt.  Store in resealable plastic containers
  • For Akta-Vite chocolate paddle pops, dissolve approx 1/4 cup of Akta-Vite (more or less to taste) with enough water to make 1/3 cup of liquid.  Stir in one can of evaporated milk & a teaspoon of vanilla.  Pour into icy pole moulds and freeze
